Services that we provide:

College Planning for students in their Freshmen to the 1st semester of Junior Year:

Students meet with the consultant one or two weeks before each quarter starts and gets advice on curriculum, test preparation, choices for extracurricular and community services, etc. Initial meetings will include an Aptitude Test.

고교 1학년 [9학년] 초부터 11학년 1학기까지의 학생을 위한 대입 준비 프로그램:

• 참여 학생은 카운슬러와 매년 2월경에 만나 다음해에 수강할 과목을 정하고, 각 학기가 시작되기 1~2 주전에 카운슬러로부터 수강할 수업, 시험 준비, 특활 과목및 봉사활동에 관해 조언을 듣는다. 첫 미팅시에 적성 검사

College Planning for Students in their 2nd semester Junior and above:

Students meet with the consultant unlimited times to get help on the following:

• Academic Records up to date,
• Recommended test preparation,
• Choices for extracurricular and community services and student’s achievement in the fields,
• Construction of a College List
• Assisted Essay Preparation (in an ethically correct manner)
• Writing College Applications
• Interviews
• Guidance on How, Who and What to ask for in a college recommendation
• College visits
• FAFSA and CSS Profile
• Consulting in making the final college choice

고교 11년 2학기 이후의 학생을 위한 대입 준비 프로그램:

• 현재까지의 학교 성적 검토
• 각종 대입 시험 스케줄 작성 (SAT, SAT Subject, ACT, AP, etc)
• 각종 과외 활동및 봉사활동의 검토및 현황 분석과 지도
• 지망 대학의 리스트 작성
• 대입 에세이 토픽 선정, 조언및 검토
• 대입 원서 작성 조언및 검토
• 대입 인터뷰에 관한 조언및 연습
• 대입 지원시 필요한 추천서에 관한 전반적 조언
• 대학 캠퍼스 방문에 관한 정보 제공
• 재정 지원을 받기 위해 필요한 사항 들에 관한 조언및 양식 작성 도움
• 최종적으로 입학할 대학의 선정

Scope of Services

Parent and Student Responsibilities:

• Students and Parents (hereafter clients) do their best to disclose student’s records related to college applications such as transcripts and standardized test scores as soon as they are available.
• Clients will provide application materials for their choice colleges within a reasonable date.
• Clients will follow our consultant’s guidance about deadlines for writing essays.
• Clients will complete and send all application materials to the colleges such as application forms, test scores, recommendation letters in a timely manner, and then monitor the status of applications.
• Clients will maintain good communication with his/her high school counselors and follow their requirement.

학생과 부모님이 하셔야 할 사항들:

• 학생과 부모님은 고교 성적이나 표준 학력고사의 성적 등이 가용한대로 카운슬러에게 제공해야 합니다
• 학생과 부모님은 충분한 시간을 두고 대입 자료들을 카운슬러에게 제공해야 합니다
• 대입 에세이를 준비할 때, 카운슬러가 정한 마감일을 꼭 지켜 주셔야 합니다
• 학생과 부모님께서는 카운슬러의 지도에 따라 지원서, 성적표, 추천서를 제 시간에 제출하고 수시로 입학 사정의 진행 과정을 알려 주셔야 합니다
• 학교의 카운슬러 선생님과도 정기적으로 대화를 하시고 요구 사항에 따르셔야 합니다.
